Welcome to Solace Therapeutics. By booking an appointment, purchasing a product, or using this website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
My goal is to provide a calm, welcoming, and professional experience for every client. These terms help ensure appointments run smoothly and that all clients receive the highest standard of care.
Appointments
Appointments can be booked online, by phone or by email.
Please ensure the information you provide when booking is accurate and up to date.
If your health changes before your appointment, please let me know as this may affect your treatment.
Booking Deposit
A 10% booking deposit is required to secure your appointment.
This deposit is deducted from the total cost of your treatment.
Deposits are:
Transferable if you provide at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule your appointment.
Non-refundable for cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice.
Non-refundable for missed appointments (no-shows).
Exceptional circumstances will always be considered with kindness and discretion.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible.
Late cancellations and missed appointments prevent appointment times from being offered to other clients.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your treatment time may need to be shortened to avoid delaying the next client.
The full appointment fee may still apply.
Health Information
Your safety is my highest priority.
Before your first appointment you will be asked to complete a confidential health history form.
Please advise me if:
your health changes
you become pregnant
you begin new medication
you are undergoing surgery or medical treatment
you receive a new medical diagnosis
Massage may not always be appropriate, and treatment plans may need to be modified to ensure your safety.
Medical Conditions
Therapeutic massage complements medical care but does not replace advice, diagnosis or treatment provided by your doctor or other healthcare professionals.
If I believe massage is not appropriate, I reserve the right to decline or postpone treatment.
Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete health information.
Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect the safety and effectiveness of treatment.
Payments
A 10% booking deposit is required when booking online.
The remaining balance is payable at the completion of your appointment.

Online payment
Online payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Products
Products purchased through Solace Therapeutics are subject to availability.
If a product arrives damaged or is faulty, please contact me as soon as possible so I can arrange a replacement or refund where required under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

However, treatment information, pricing and availability may change without notice.
Privacy
Your personal information is collected and managed in accordance with the Solace Therapeutics Privacy Policy.
Health information is treated as strictly confidential.

While every reasonable effort is made to provide safe, professional treatment, Solace Therapeutics is not responsible for outcomes arising from:
inaccurate or incomplete health information provided by clients
failure to follow aftercare advice
circumstances outside reasonable control
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your rights under New Zealand consumer law.

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.
