Mobile Massage
Compassionate care, in the comfort of your own home.
Solace Therapeutics offers mobile massage appointments for clients who are unable to travel to the clinic or who would feel more comfortable receiving treatment in their own home.
Mobile massage can be particularly helpful for clients experiencing reduced mobility, recovering from surgery or illness, receiving palliative care, or simply those who prefer the comfort and privacy of home.
Mobile call-out fee
A $20 mobile call-out fee applies to all mobile appointments and is charged in addition to the selected massage treatment.
This fee covers the additional time involved in travelling to your home and transporting the equipment required for your treatment.
Preparing for your appointment
To help make your treatment safe, comfortable and relaxing, please ensure:
There is a private, comfortable space with enough room for the massage table and for your therapist to move safely around it.
The room is warm, clean and free from hazards.
There is safe and accessible parking and access to your home.
Pets are kept safely away from the treatment area during your appointment.
Please let Kellie know when booking if there are any mobility, accessibility or other considerations that may affect access to your home.
Your treatment will always be adapted to your individual needs and circumstances.
Changes to your health
Please advise Kellie of any changes to your health, medications, medical treatment or circumstances before your appointment.
For clients receiving or recovering from cancer treatment, treatment will be carefully adapted to their individual needs. Where appropriate, medical clearance or communication with the client's healthcare team may be recommended.
For palliative clients, treatment may be extremely gentle and may involve simple, comforting touch to the hands, feet, scalp or other areas that feel comfortable.
Safety and professional care
The safety and wellbeing of both client and therapist is important.
Solace Therapeutics reserves the right to modify, postpone or decline a mobile treatment if the home environment is considered unsafe or unsuitable for treatment.
All mobile appointments are professional therapeutic massage treatments and the same professional boundaries and standards apply as they do within the clinic.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Mobile appointments require additional preparation, travel time and equipment, so at least 24 hours' notice is appreciated if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed appointments, may incur a cancellation fee.
